Role Description

As a Care Support Specialist at Steadfast Health, you’ll be at the heart of our inpatient consultation model, supporting both patients and clinical teams within the hospital system — all while working 100% remote. You’ll serve as the first point of contact for patients and their care teams, ensuring every interaction is welcoming, empathetic, and supportive.

• Manage patient intake, scheduling, and data entry.
• Provide seamless operational support for our inpatient consult services.
• Coordinate care between patients, hospital staff, and Steadfast providers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in healthcare operations, care coordination, or administrative support preferred (especially in behavioral health or SUD care).

Requirements

• Passion for Steadfast Health’s mission to provide low-barrier, harm-reductionist, non-punitive care for individuals with substance use disorders.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with digital tools and systems, including EHR platforms (e.g., Athenahealth).
• Clear and professional communication skills with both patients and providers.
• Comfortable using EHR systems (Athena preferred) and quickly learning new tools.
