Role Description

When you join the team as the Benefit Specialist, you'll have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our patients each day as they look to you as part of their dedicated support team for helping them navigate the tricky process to getting access to their complex medication. You'll compassionately deliver an exceptional experience always remembering that every prescription or document belongs to a real person who is looking for thorough and efficient management of their records. From navigating benefit investigations and prior authorizations, to providing resources for financial assistance, you’ll handle each case with precision and empathy.

A typical day in the life of a Benefit Specialist will include the following:

• Conducts outbound calls/day for missing/unclear benefit details
• Performs full benefit investigations using script/call guide
• Handles inbound patient calls for application status and missing information
• Documents findings in Summary of Benefits for providers
• Updates case notes thoroughly in Lynk system

Qualifications

• Experience working from home
• Outbound call experience
• Experience with speaking to payers
• Internet speed confirmed
• Secure workplace
• Experience with call monitoring and QA review of calls
• Experience with learning new systems
• Greater than one year of patient services/call center environment
