Role Description

This role entails providing not only hands-on technical but also application support to our customers and colleagues. Work on-site at a variety of labs and support the customers with product solutions across GC/LC/GCMS/ LCMS, as well as multi-vendor systems solutions.

• Install and optimize hardware/software/network products.
• Perform maintenance and repairs.
• Diagnose and resolve product performance issues.
• Address applications related issues and provide end-to-end solutions at customer sites.
• Deliver fully coordinated solutions, which may include peripherals, communications, operating systems, and applications software.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by guiding and training users on preventive maintenance and configurations.
• Demonstrate and train customers how to use and optimize high-end features of Agilent's software platforms.
• Share expertise and train other Service Engineers across Agilent's product solutions.
• Work with the sales team to deliver bespoke one-to-one consulting related to the customer's specific application needs.
• Develop innovative application solutions across various market segments like Environmental, Food, Energy & Chemicals and Pharmaceutical.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in chemistry, Food, Environment, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or similar background in life sciences.
• Expertise in analytical techniques and method development (GC/ HPLC/UHPLC/ MS) in a similar position or as an End-user.
• Problem-solving skills, particularly for fixing, applications support and/or general instrument maintenance.
• Experience with the Agilent solutions is desired but not essential.
• A strong desire to learn and expand your skill set.
• Enjoy working remotely, whilst engaging and visiting customers on-site.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to coordinate and prioritize efficiently.
• A strong attention to detail and processes, ensuring compliance with Agilent's Quality standards.
• Ability to handle customer expectations and balance customer requirements with business needs.
