[Hiring] Senior Cybersecurity Compliance & Risk Assessment Consultant @TestPros

Role Description

TestPros is seeking an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Compliance & Risk Assessment Consultant (CCPA/CPRA) to support client engagements involving data privacy regulations, compliance assessments, gap analyses, and privacy program development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience advising organizations on privacy compliance requirements, identifying risks, and recommending practical solutions. This role includes:

• Participating in client discovery calls
• Assessing business needs
• Supporting privacy compliance projects as they arise

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in privacy compliance, data protection, regulatory compliance, or related consulting
• Strong working knowledge of CCPA/CPRA and U.S. privacy regulations
• Experience conducting privacy assessments, gap analyses, and compliance readiness reviews
• Ability to independently lead client discussions and translate regulatory requirements into actionable recommendations
• Experience developing privacy policies, procedures, and compliance documentation
• Strong communication, analytical, and client-facing consulting skills
• Ability to work independently on short-term or project-based engagements

Requirements

• Privacy certifications such as CIPP/US, CIPM, or CIPT
• Experience with GDPR and other international privacy frameworks
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks, including NIST Privacy Framework, NIST CSF, and ISO/IEC 27001
• Experience supporting organizations preparing for CPRA-related cybersecurity audits or risk assessments
• Background in privacy consulting for commercial clients
• Experience working alongside cybersecurity, risk management, or compliance teams

Benefits

• Rate: $50-70/hr (1099 or Corp. To Corp.)
• This range represents a good-faith estimate and is not a guarantee; final compensation is determined by factors such as experience, qualifications, and government contract labor rate requirements and may fall outside the stated range
