[Hiring] Senior Compliance Audit Analyst @Quest Diagnostics

Role Description

Responsible for proactively monitoring compliance with all applicable federal and state laws, regulations, policy directives and ethical requirements for Quest Diagnostics lines of business.

• Lead auditor responsibilities for assigned audits.
• Responsible for coordinating all aspects of the audit process, including:
  • Risk assessment discussions
  • Communicating with the laboratory/region/function (including opening and closing meetings)
  • Directing the audit team through the audit
  • Compiling the preliminary audit report
  • Working with the laboratory/region/function to remediate all findings
  • Reporting status updates by the end of each month
• Audit specialist for assigned audit protocols.
• Responsible for performing assigned audit protocols for all scheduled audits in a timely manner and working with the policy guardian(s) and functional owners to evaluate and update audit protocols on an ongoing basis.
• Deep-Dive Audits: Responsible for the performance of specialized audits as needed.
• Project Management: Responsible for the performance of special projects as needed.
• Process Improvement: Responsible for working with cross-functional teams on process improvement initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

• A minimum of five years in the laboratory industry with a background in compliance, billing or medical technology.
• 3 years proven project management skills.
• Working knowledge of Compliance Policies and impact of potential violations.
• Knowledge of test pricing, CPT coding and reimbursement processes.
• Proficiency in Access, Excel, Word and Outlook required.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
• Excellent leadership abilities, integrity, trustworthiness, commitment, resilience, high energy and motivation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree B.S. Degree in business, accounting, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience (Preferred).
• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required).
