Role Description

• Developing, implementing, and maintaining IT compliance policies and procedures
• Conducting regular audits to identify areas of non-compliance and implementing corrective actions
• Collaborating with IT teams to ensure compliance requirements are integrated into system designs
• Keeping abreast of industry regulations and best practices to proactively address compliance issues
• Overseeing compliance training programs for employees to increase awareness and understanding
• Responding to compliance-related inquiries and issues from internal and external stakeholders
• Monitoring and reporting on compliance metrics and key performance indicators
• Leading compliance assessments and risk assessments
• Updating and maintaining documentation related to IT compliance activities
• Investigating incidents of non-compliance and developing remediation plans
• Implementing controls to safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data
• Participating in internal and external compliance audits
• Collaborating with legal and regulatory affairs teams to interpret and implement regulatory requirements
• Providing guidance and recommendations on compliance-related matters to senior management
• Contributing to the development of compliance strategies and initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or similar certification preferred
• 3+ years of experience in IT compliance or a related field
• Strong knowledge of industry regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, or SOX
• Experience with compliance management software and tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Proven track record of implementing successful compliance programs
• Familiarity with risk management principles
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
