[Hiring] Compliance Analyst @Reserv

Role Description

The Compliance Analyst – UK at Reserv will play a valuable role in supporting our company’s adherence to UK regulatory requirements, industry best practices and ethical standards. This position is designed for a developing compliance professional with strong UK complaints knowledge, who will assist in developing and implementing compliance programs and initiatives to help mitigate risks and safeguard our operations. A familiarity with TPAs is ideal.

This is a hands-on role, with guidance and oversight from your manager. Your focus will be doing the work: resolving UK complaints and responding to GDPR data subject access requests (DSARs), Data Protection Act (DPA) requests and Request for Access to Data (RAD1) requests accurately, fairly and within the required timescales, with particular care for vulnerable customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Legal Studies, Risk Management, or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in compliance, complaints or claims within the insurance industry or wider UK financial services.
• Strong knowledge of UK complaints, including FCA complaints rules and the Financial Ombudsman Service.
• Working knowledge of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
• Awareness of the FCA’s expectations for the fair treatment of vulnerable customers.
• Awareness of UK sanctions regulations.
• Good understanding of UK insurance claims regulations and compliance frameworks.
• Experience of insurance claims handling or claims compliance.
• Strong interest in compliance and regulatory work.
• Good analytical and research skills.
• Strong writing skills.
• Comfort with technology and AI tools.
• Strong technical skills in systems such as Excel or Google Sheets.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.
• Self-starting mindset with the ability to work independently.
• Collaborative team player.
• Professional certifications such as Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) or International Compliance Association (ICA) are a plus.
