[Hiring] Web Editor, Communications @Robert Half

Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly collaborative Web Editor to support the optimization and publication of thought leadership content that appears on the company’s website. The Web Editor will maintain online content and work in the company’s Content Management System (CMS) to keep web pages current with updated copy, graphics, videos, and an excellent user experience.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Content Strategy, the Web Editor will work with:

• writers
• SEO analysts
• the web content manager
• UX and others across the Marketing and Corporate Communications teams

This role includes staying current on trends, business opportunities, and content that supports Robert Half’s vision/mission.

What You'll Do

• Edit and upload content on the Robert Half website using Adobe Experience Manager.
• Edit and update content on web pages as new messaging and data are available.
• Identify opportunities for new web pages in coordination with content strategy managers.
• Evaluate content ideas from an SEO lens and provide feedback on the potential for organic traffic.
• Ensure web content is accurate, authoritative, well-structured, and optimized for discovery, interpretation, and reuse by generative AI and search experiences.
• Find stock images to accompany online content.
• Update existing online content with new data and optimize it for search engines.
• Produce and share out web page metrics and key takeaways.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of communications or marketing experience.
• Experience editing, optimizing, and uploading professional content.
• Web content optimization experience and linking strategies.
• Proficiency using content management systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.

Compensation

The typical hourly pay rate for this position is shown below and is negotiable depending upon experience and location.

$29.81 - $45.19
