Role Description

This is a 12-month contract. This position is for temporary engagement through our staffing partner, Yoh Enterprise Solutions. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States for this position.

Bend Studio, renowned creator of Days Gone, Uncharted: Golden Abyss, and Syphon Filter, is seeking outstanding talent to join our passionate and creative team in crafting our next high-profile AAA title.

We are seeking a Community Manager to deliver execution of marketing and social strategies to support the game and its players. In this role, you will be embedded with our community and act as a voice of the studio to:

• Incentivize long-term retention
• Create engaging content to help shape the identity of all public-facing channels
• Drive daily engagement with our players

The ideal candidate will possess a combination of communication skills, creativity, and passion for our games to represent our players and our studio. This role is eligible for full remote work.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven experience as a Community Manager or related field
• Strong understanding of community and social media engagement in the video game industry
• Strong collaboration skills with a commitment to positive team culture
• Ability to act quickly in a fast-paced environment to meet various deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledgeable in various platforms including Discord, TikTok, X, Instagram, and Twitch
• Must love games and have a passion for creating them!

Requirements

• Engage with the community daily through our official social media channels
• Actively stay on current trends that relate to our brand and games to create engaging and original content
• Collaborate effectively with Marketing, PR, and Product to execute social strategies and community initiatives
• Partner with prominent community members
• Develop strategies to help our social media channels grow and convert community members to community leaders
• Moderate player discussions online and escalate appropriate action internally
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment for our players across all spaces
