[Hiring] Communications Associate @Clinton Foundation

Role Description

The Communications Associate will be responsible for supporting the efforts of the Foundation’s Communications and Marketing teams, including:

• Organizing press outreach
• Creating content that tells the stories of the Foundation’s work and impact
• Supporting the Clinton Global Initiative and partners
• Supporting program rollouts and pitching efforts
• Performing administrative tasks as needed

The position affects the public image and reputation of the Clinton Foundation. The Communications Associate must be highly organized, thorough, accurate, and display good judgment to ensure the best possible representation of the Foundation publicly.

The Clinton Foundation Marketing and Communications team is responsible for developing external communications, campaigns, and creative content in service of advancing the work of the Clinton Foundation and understanding of President Clinton’s lifetime of public service. This team comprises writers, marketers, producers, media specialists, content and digital strategists, metrics and data analysts, and creative professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications or relevant field to the Clinton Foundation’s work required
• 1-2 years’ experience in communications or media relations working in the Clinton Foundation’s issue areas, for a PR agency, on a campaign, for a government agency, for a media outlet, or for a multi-national corporation required

• Proven quick and thorough research and writing ability
• Ability to pitch media and manage significant announcements and events
• Good judgment under pressure
• Extremely organized and detail-oriented
• Proven capacity to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment with tight deadlines
• Professional demeanor
• Experience in media and marketing preferred, including pitching, writing, and other content creation in areas related to the work of the Clinton Foundation
• Familiarity with social media channels, research and media applications such as Cision and Lexis/Nexis

Benefits

• Compensation range: $52,000 - $57,000 annually, depending on experience
• Eligible for overtime pay
• Generous benefits package at little to no cost to employees
