[Hiring] VP of Business Development @CluePoints

Role Description

We’re looking for a VP of Business Development, Mid-Market to join our Commercial team, reporting directly to our Chief Commercial Officer. You’ll lead the build-out of our mid-market BD function - owning the full sales cycle from prospecting to close across emerging and specialty pharma and biotech accounts.

Requirements

• Build and lead a high-performing BD team focused on acquiring mid-market pharma and biotech accounts - setting strategy, team structure, and coverage model from the ground up.
• Own the mid-market deal cycle end to end: territory planning, prospecting, negotiation, and close.
• Develop and implement strategies to acquire and retain small to mid-sized pharma and biotech accounts and new logos, with a clear value proposition around CluePoints’ AI-powered RBQM platform.
• Partner cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Strategy, and Commercial Operations to align GTM execution, messaging, and customer transitions.
• Contribute to shared commercial frameworks alongside the Commercial Leadership—territory segmentation, pipeline generation, and coverage models.
• Represent CluePoints at industry events and conferences, building relationships with clinical trial sponsors across the mid-market segment.
