[Hiring] Vice President of Business Development @Signal and Strand

Role Description

Build a new market in the industry you already know. Our client is a fast-growing outsourcing company that builds dedicated remote teams for US businesses. They handle customer support, sales support, scheduling, admin, and back-office work inside the client’s own systems, as part of the client’s team.

They’re hiring one or two Vice Presidents of Business Development to lead that expansion. Each VP owns a vertical: Real Estate, Home Services and Construction, Waste Management and Environmental Services, or Hospitality. You’ll build the go-to-market from the ground up:

• Who to call
• What to offer them
• How to price and package it
• How to turn the first few clients into a reputation

You’ll report to the Senior Vice President of Sales and work alongside Marketing and Customer Experience. This is a hands-on, entrepreneurial seat for someone who wants to build a market, not inherit one.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in B2B business development with deep relationships in one of the target industries: real estate, home services and construction, waste management and environmental services, or hospitality
• 5+ years in senior sales leadership with a track record of winning in that industry, or selling into it
• Bachelor’s degree in business, management, communication, or a related field
• Strong written and spoken communication; tech-savvy and quick to adopt new tools

• Experience in high-growth environments, using data and technology to drive results
• An entrepreneur’s mindset: strategic enough to design the plan, hands-on enough to run it
• Collaborative, efficient, and motivated by results; you want to win the day
• Energized by networking and industry events

Benefits

• Base salary: $135,000 to $150,000, plus commission
• Target OTE: $300,000
• Realistic first-year earnings: $200,000 to $250,000 while you build the book

Location & Work Model

• Remote, anywhere in the US
• Core hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central
• Travel for industry events, conferences, and client meetings
