[Hiring] Strategic Partnerships Manager @Nuvei

Role Description

We are looking for a dynamic, relationship-oriented, strong team player, results-driven, and collaborative Strategic Partnerships Manager to join our fast-growing Platforms and Partners team. Based in Mexico and reporting to the Director of Platforms and Partners, you will be responsible for driving and expanding Nuvei’s strategic partnership ecosystem across Latin America. The ideal candidate is a relationship builder with a strategic mindset, a passion for creating new business opportunities, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, international environment.

Your Mission

This role is focused on developing and strengthening relationships with key platforms, technology providers, introducers, agencies, and other strategic partners that can accelerate Nuvei’s growth in the region. The ideal candidate already has an established network within the LATAM payments ecosystem and a proven ability to build long-term, high-value partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the LATAM partnerships strategy, with a primary focus on identifying, developing, and growing strategic partner relationships across the region.
• Manage and strengthen existing partnerships while proactively identifying and onboarding new partners that align with Nuvei’s business objectives and growth strategy.
• Build trusted relationships with executive stakeholders and become the main point of contact for strategic partners in LATAM.
• Understand partners’ business models, growth strategies, technical challenges, and market opportunities to position Nuvei as the preferred payments partner.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Integration, Marketing, and Operations teams to deliver successful joint initiatives and maximize partner value.
• Drive partner engagement through regular business reviews, joint go-to-market activities, and relationship-building initiatives.
• Monitor market trends and the competitive landscape to identify new partnership opportunities and emerging business models.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or ecosystem management within the payments, fintech, SaaS, or technology sectors.
• Strong understanding of the online payments industry, including acquiring, payment gateways, alternative payment methods (APMs), and related financial services.
• Proven track record of building and managing long-term strategic partnerships and consistently achieving commercial objectives.
• Established network and relationships within the LATAM payments and technology ecosystem are highly desirable.
• Expertise in partnership development and ecosystem growth is the key priority.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both external partners and internal teams.
• Self-starter with a strategic mindset and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and international environment.
• Based in Mexico, with willingness and ability to travel across LATAM as needed.
