Role Description

The Strategic Growth Associate is responsible for supporting the business development efforts of the Growth team. This role involves:

• Supporting prospecting, qualifying, and advancing potential partnership opportunities with payer and provider organizations.
• Helping the Growth team manage the sales cycle, research, preparing presentations/proposals/representations of Belong Health’s solutions.
• Developing and maintaining sales process operations.
• Partnering cross-functionally to enable highly coordinated partnerships.

Essential job duties include:

• Conducting research and prospecting to identify potential partnership opportunities with payer and provider organizations, focusing on local and regional health plans and health systems.
• Helping qualify and prioritize potential leads based on fit with Belong Health's solutions and target market criteria.
• Supporting the Vice President, Sales in managing the sales cycle, research, including outreach, stakeholder alignment, partnership terms negotiation, and agreement finalization.
• Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of Belong Health's solutions, including the technology and services offered, to effectively communicate value propositions to potential partners.
• Collaborating with internal teams, such as Analytics and Product, to gather relevant data and insights to support business development efforts.
• Assisting in the creation of sales collateral, presentations, spreadsheets, and other marketing materials to support the Strategic Partnerships team.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Experience in solution-based selling or consulting within payer or provider organizations.
• Strong research, analytical, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and across various functional areas.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in consulting, account management, business development, strategy, or partnership roles, preferably within the healthcare industry.
• Knowledge of healthcare industry trends, particularly related to value-based care, Medicare Advantage and Dual Special Needs Plans, CMS/CMMI programs, Accountable Care Organizations.

Education, Training, License and Certification

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Training or certification in sales, business development, or healthcare-related disciplines is a plus.
• No specific licenses or certifications are required for this role.

Work Environment

Travel

• This role may require up to 5% of travel for internal team meetings and prospective partner meetings.

Salary

• $130,000 annually. Position will last for 5 months total.
