[Hiring] Senior Strategist, Account Development @GEICO

Role Description

GEICO seeks a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Strategist, Account Development to join our Independent Agent Sales team. The successful candidate will report to the Director, Agency Sales Engagement Strategy and will be responsible for:

• Strategic planning, campaign design, content development, and virtual experiences to boost agent engagement.
• Driving profitable growth and improving BD and AOM efficiency and efficacy.
• Impacting GEICO’s market share across its entire network of independent agent partners, specifically agents without a dedicated sales resource.

Responsibilities include:

• Liaising with Commercial Lines product, sales, and platform leadership to identify opportunities to boost production and profitability.
• Planning, building, deploying, measuring, and iterating on campaigns that drive product awareness and personal lines growth.
• Owning account development (growth/profitability) for 60% of agents that don’t have a dedicated Commercial Lines sales rep.
• Designing and managing processes and off-the-shelf programming that leverage broad reach campaign learnings.
• Supporting Sales Enablement as product/sales SMEs; managing agent-facing tools and content.
• Identifying and elevating opportunities to continuously improve results and strengthen agent experience.
• Using a variety of data to identify opportunities, design tests, determine impact, and iterate approach.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a marketing, communications, or sales strategist.
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
• Proven track record of successfully developing and translating sales strategy into results.
• Attention to detail and ability to adapt to ongoing change.
• Executive communication skills (writing, influencing, persuading, presenting).
• Strong ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal stakeholders.
• Ability to use a variety of data to identify opportunities, design tests, determine impact, and iterate approach.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in P&C insurance with a focus on Commercial Lines (preferred).
