[Hiring] Senior Business Development Manager @Arete Ventures

Role Description

Our client is a well-known Research & Analytics firm in areas of investment research, valuation & advisory services to clients globally since 2003. They have a global presence in the USA, Europe, Middle East & Asia and are looking to hire a Senior Business Development Manager who can help expand their business further with investment banking firms, private equity, asset managers, brokerage firms, and corporates. This is a remote work from home position with the candidate permanently based out in London, UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Business planning
  • Develop business plan and sales strategy for the market
  • Set targets at an annual and quarterly level, in consultation with senior management
  • Developing an action plan to achieve targets
• Building new client relationships
  • Identify and target new clients including corporates, investment firms, private equity, asset managers, and brokerage firms for our Investment research practice
  • Engage clients on research opportunities and close business deals by facilitating discussions with the client and internal delivery teams as necessary
  • Build referral and lead generation network
• Managing and growing accounts
  • Proactively identify opportunities to grow existing accounts
  • Build long-term relationships with a broader set of client teams within the client organization to strengthen the overall relationship
  • Set and manage targets for growth of client accounts
• Identifying new business ideas
  • Identify new areas for research support and work with the delivery teams to pilot and commercialize these ideas

Qualifications

• Graduate/Post Graduate from a reputed institute
• 6-8 years of excellent experience in the US Investments & Financial Services sector
• Preferable exposure to Hedge Funds, Private Equity, Venture Capital, or Asset Management Firms
• This is a work from home position and the candidate needs to be permanently based out from London, UK
