Role Description

The Senior Business Analyst / Deputy Project Manager is responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:

• Requirements gathering
• Business process mapping and improvement
• Meeting facilitation
• Writing, reviewing, and maintaining documentation
• Stakeholder engagement

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, communication, and writing skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, developers, testers, and project leadership. This role requires someone who can translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements and effectively manage multiple high-visibility, time-sensitive projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 2-5+ years of relevant experience
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Creating system and user documentation for process analysis and improvement
• Ability to manage multiple high-visibility, time-sensitive projects at once and prioritize accordingly

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required
• Secret clearance is required
• Selected candidates may be subject to a government security investigation

Responsibilities

• Become an expert in your supported application(s) understanding its features and functionality
• Interfacing with internal and external customer stakeholders at multiple management levels
• Facilitate meetings, ask probing questions to elicit requirements
• Documenting business and technical solutions in various formats
• Clarifying functional requirements and functional design during development
• Communicate stakeholder requirements at various levels
• Provide support for Developers, Testers, and client Stakeholders
• Review and edit documentation written by developers or other business analysts
• Test and validate software implementations
• Develop and update software documentation
• Develop process analysis and standard operating procedures
• Provide process and system diagrams using available tools
• Conduct analysis on customer requests to identify the proper scope of a solution
• Working in project teams that develop software applications in a cloud environment
• Process management, negotiating, influencing, and problem resolution
• Provide ad-hoc Program Management support
