[Hiring] Principal Business Analyst @Majesco

Role Description

Majesco is seeking a Principal Business Analyst with knowledge of Life Insurance domain for North American Life & Annuity product line. The role involves:

• Working closely with Product Management to translate the vision, strategy, and high-level product roadmap into tangible end-to-end User Acceptance Journeys and Test Cases from Policy to Claims.
• Collaborating with a team of business consultants, business analysts, and subject matter experts to ensure detailed journeys that consider business users and varying landscapes with each insurance carrier.
• Collaborating with Product Owners to understand outcomes for a product release and translating them into End to End test cases.
• Identifying reasons for defect leakage and improving the Quality Assurance Process with Implementation & Production customers.
• Ensuring adequate test coverage for requirements and considering various patterns of scenarios for high-quality delivery.
• Acting as a champion of the product, demonstrating and articulating features internally and externally.
• Conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
• Supporting issue analysis/triaging and providing fixes during test phases and production issue resolution.
• Participating in project management, planning, status reporting, and issue resolution.
• Maintaining strong knowledge of life insurance policy administration systems, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
• Leading the requirements gathering process for the life insurance claim module.
• Conducting thorough analysis of existing processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Presenting and highlighting features in product demos to a wider audience/customer.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (or global equivalent) in Computer Science or related field; Master’s Degree preferred.
• 15+ years professional experience; 10+ years in L&A and Group insurance.
• Blend of business and technical understanding of core, data, and digital cloud-based enterprise systems for L&A and Group insurance.
• Well-versed with insurance technology vendor marketplace and key product trends.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to present ideas and information through storytelling.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
• Highly analytical and data-driven mindset.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines while paying attention to details.
• Experience with SAFe Agile Development practices and processes; SAFe Practitioner certification preferred.
• Experience with Majesco Platforms/Products is a plus.
• Preferred experience in configuration of banking or financial services products.
• Actuarial qualification will be preferred.
• Extensive experience in creating complex excel workbooks, writing macros, or programming languages is a plus.
