[Hiring] Partnerships and Resource Mobilization Senior Expert Consultant @AGORA

Role Description

The Partnerships and Resource Mobilization Senior Expert Consultant will be engaged to provide technical expertise and operational support for securing and growing high-value partnerships, particularly through private sector engagement, across markets in the region.

The Consultant will play a pivotal role in strengthening UNICEF’s high-value fundraising opportunities across Europe and Central Asia (ECA). The assignment will support COs and Regional Office (RO) teams in:

• Cultivating, winning, and managing high-value partnerships
• Increasing scale and quality of funding for children in ECA
• Designing tailored engagement strategies
• Facilitating innovative approaches to maximize influence and income from businesses

Familiarity with UNICEF programmatic work and the ability to work across teams to design and deliver compelling proposals is key to the assignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business Administration, International Development, Marketing, or another relevant technical field
• At least 15 years of relevant professional experience in private sector engagement, partnership development, corporate social responsibility, or related areas
• Fluency in English is required

Requirements

• Proven experience in developing strategies and roadmaps for private sector collaboration
• Strong understanding of the ECA regional context, including some understanding of health, ECCE, ECI, parenting support, and violence prevention
• Excellent research, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Excellent drafting, formulation, reporting, and proposal development skills
• Ability to work inclusively and collaboratively across multicultural teams and with Country Office, Regional Office, and partner stakeholders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, email, and internet-based tools; ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
