[Hiring] IT Business Development Manager @UNIQA Group Services

Role Description

This is a position suitable for passionate professionals who want to work for a leading European Insurance Group on a very flexible work schedule. You will work as part of a multinational group with true, large, enterprise-wide systems, complex architectures and real life constraints (speed, performance, non-stop systems availability) and are going to be part of an agile team aimed at designing and implementing enterprise level solutions.

Contract duration: permanent

Schedule: full-time (8 hrs/day, Monday to Friday)

Your responsibilities:

• Care for a productive, economically successful IT service unit "UGS-IT", that is well rated by clients as service provider and by employees as employer.
• Maintain existing IT business connections, care for client on top level.
• Collaborate closely with Delivery Leads and People teams on planning and staffing.
• Develop IT business opportunities within and outside of UNIQA group.
• Keep UGS-IT services competitive by observing, investigating and probing technologies relevant for targeted markets.
• Ensure UGS-IT and its staff are skill-wise and technologically up-to-date with foreseeable market demands.
• Contribute within UGS-IT management team to strengthen and optimize the UGS-IT organizational setup.
• Report to superior entities and within UGS-IT itself about business dynamics.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, organizational, and structured thinking - combined with empathy in client and staff relation.
• Excellent communication skills and customer-oriented mindset.
• Communication with clients on top level, able to express complex topics in structured and simple to understandable ways.
• High level of proactivity and ownership.
• Preparation of high quality data analysis, professional presentations for top level management.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and support multiple stakeholders.
• Languages: English mandatory, German optional.

Requirements

• Experience with IT service environment, delivery models or FTE-based resourcing.
• Experience in contractual, legal, and compliance-related matters.
• Experience working in big corporations and their inner dynamics (> 1.000 staff).
