[Hiring] Director, Strategic Growth & Business Development @DaVita Kidney Care

Role Description

As a Business Development Director, you will serve as the strategic growth leader, deal originator, and acquisition driver for an assigned regional portfolio covering approximately half of DaVita’s Titan Operating Group.

• Acquisition Origination & Deal Execution
  • Proactively identify, originate, and build a robust pipeline of acquisition opportunities.
  • Lead deals through the entire transaction lifecycle.
  • Anticipate and resolve roadblocks to ensure timely and accretive deal closures.
• Market Growth Strategy & Intelligence
  • Develop and execute multi-year growth plans for assigned divisions and markets.
  • Conduct in-depth market scans and analyses to identify high-impact expansion opportunities.
  • Monitor and evaluate competitor activity and market consolidation.
• Physician & Health System Partnerships
  • Cultivate trusted relationships with independent nephrology groups and health system leaders.
  • Source and structure physician alignment models.
  • Tailor strategic messaging to align physician practice goals with DaVita’s capabilities.
• Operational Partnership & Matrix Leadership
  • Collaborate with Division Vice Presidents and other partners to integrate growth plans.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and coach for operational peers.
  • Lead through influence across various lanes to align stakeholders.
• Culture, Compliance & Initiative Leadership
  • Champion DaVita’s core values and foster a collaborative culture.
  • Ensure adherence to healthcare compliance standards.
  • Identify operational or growth friction points and develop innovative solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, MHA, or equivalent master’s degree strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in healthcare business development or related fields.
• Demonstrated success in originating, evaluating, negotiating, and closing healthcare transactions.
• Strong commercial and financial competence.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• High degree of self-direction and resourcefulness.
• Willingness to travel 30%–50% within assigned territory.
