We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead strategic growth initiatives across our Wound Closure & Biosurgery portfolios. This role blends market development, strategic execution, and team leadership to deliver highly impactful outcomes. The primary responsibilities include:

• Driving specialty expansion for the Wound Closure & Biosurgery portfolio into targeted areas such as Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Urology, Cardiac, & Plastics.
• Developing & implementing strategy for the portfolio to increase product adoption compared to primary methods.

The role requires a strong blend of commercial drive, clinical curiosity, customer focus and disciplined execution. You will build trusted relationships with key stakeholders, support education and training activity, develop existing and emerging KOL relationships, and use market intelligence to identify opportunities that grow the business and strengthen J&J Surgery’s position in the market.

The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker and hands-on leader, capable of driving innovation, fostering collaboration, and working effectively with high-performing teams.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated business development or marketing experience in MedTech or healthcare, with a track record of success in strategy development and execution.
• Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills.
• Expertise in marketing, sales enablement, and market development.
• Ability to communicate aims, objectives, and expectations clearly, engagingly, and inspiringly.
• Effective delegation and prioritisation skills, enabling efficient work and empowering others to broaden their leadership experience.
