[Hiring] Business Development Manager @Switch Hospitality

Role Description

Join a growing company that's directly solving the housing crisis. You'll build relationships with landlords and developers to secure quality accommodation for vulnerable families, making a real difference while growing your property portfolio.

You'll identify and secure residential properties that meet local authority demand. Working closely with landlords, developers, investors, agents, hotel owners and accommodation providers, you'll manage opportunities from initial identification through to signed agreements.

Key Responsibilities

• Source suitable residential properties, HMOs, apartment blocks and family homes
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of accommodation opportunities
• Network with private landlords, institutional landlords, developers and estate agents
• Negotiate commercial terms with accommodation providers
• Achieve minimum 4 new qualified property leads and 1 property confirmation per week
• Manage Salesforce pipeline with accurate updates following all interactions
• Attend networking events and represent the company at industry forums
• Support onboarding processes for newly acquired accommodation

Qualifications

• Experience within property sourcing, lettings, estate agency, housing, acquisitions or landlord engagement with preexisting relationships in place
• Strong knowledge of the UK residential property market
• Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
• Strong negotiation and influencing abilities
• Ability to identify, assess and progress property opportunities
• Strong organisational and administration skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good IT skills, including CRM systems and Microsoft Office

Requirements

• Knowledge of temporary accommodation, supported housing, social housing or exempt accommodation sectors
• Understanding of HMO licensing and residential compliance requirements
• Experience working with local authority housing contracts
• Existing network within the property or housing sector
