[Hiring] Business Development Associate Intern @Weekday

Role Description

This is an internal hiring not for our clients.

Remote | 6-Month Paid Internship | ₹15,000–₹20,000/month

₹15,000 fixed + up to ₹5,000 performance incentives

10 AM – 7 PM | 6 days/week

Potential full-time conversion: up to ₹6 LPA

As a Business Development Associate Intern , you'll be:

• Speaking to real companies, understanding their hiring challenges, and introducing them to our product.
• Learning what it takes to turn a conversation into a business relationship.
• Getting a front-row seat to how a Y Combinator-backed startup thinks about customers, sales, growth, and revenue.
• Not required to come in knowing sales; if you're a strong communicator, curious, ambitious, and willing to learn, we'll teach you the rest.

What You'll Do

• Speak with prospective customers and understand their hiring needs.
• Introduce companies to Weekday and explain how our product can help them.
• Identify and engage with potential customers.
• Build relationships with prospects and clients.
• Work with internal teams to create a smooth customer experience.
• Track your work and understand what drives successful business development.

• You don't need a perfect resume or previous sales experience.
• Communicates clearly and confidently.
• Enjoys talking to people.
• Is curious and learns quickly.
• Takes initiative and follows through.
• Is comfortable working independently.
• Wants to understand how businesses actually work.
• Is currently pursuing or has recently completed a Bachelor's degree.
• Prior sales experience is a bonus, not a requirement.
• What matters most is your communication, curiosity, attitude, and willingness to learn.

Our Interview Process

• Communication Screening w Karishma Jain: A short initial screening to understand your communication and interest in the role.
• Pitch Round w Harshvardhan Singh: We'll provide preparation material beforehand. You'll get time to understand it and prepare a short pitch, which you'll present during the interview.
• Final Round w Junaid Khan: A final conversation with the team to understand your motivation, working style, and potential fit. No prior sales knowledge is expected for the interview. We'll give you what you need to prepare for the pitch.
