[Hiring] Machine Learning Engineer @the Opportunity

Role Description

We are seeking Machine Learning Engineers and AI researchers with hands-on experience in simulation and reinforcement learning to help build and test environments for RL agents. You will use your technical expertise to create structured scenarios, configure simulated environments, test agent interactions, and provide practical feedback on the tools and interfaces used to develop reinforcement learning scenarios.

• Design and build scenarios within a reinforcement learning platform.
• Configure environmental parameters and spatial constraints.
• Define agent interaction rules and reward structures.
• Run preliminary agent interactions to test and validate scenarios.
• Document your workflow and identify friction points encountered during environment configuration.
• Discuss your experience and provide technical feedback on the platform's usability during a remote interview.

Qualifications

• Experience in machine learning or artificial intelligence research.
• Experience in simulation design and development.
• Experience with reinforcement learning environments and frameworks.
• Experience configuring technical platforms for simulated agent interactions.
• Experience defining structured agent scenarios and reward structures.
• Relevant backgrounds include Machine Learning Engineering, AI Research, Simulation Development, and Technical Game Design.

Requirements

• Comfortable working with complex platform interfaces.
• Ability to clearly communicate technical observations and feedback.
