[Hiring] Head of AI / AI Strategic Consultant @Addepto

Role Description

We are looking for a Head of AI / AI Strategic Consultant who will play a key role in shaping AI strategies for enterprise clients. This position blends AI expertise, strategic advisory, and technical leadership. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping organizations define their AI direction, identify high-impact use cases, and guide AI initiatives from concept to production.

• Act as a trusted advisor to C-level and senior stakeholders, shaping how organizations use AI to create measurable business value.
• Define and own AI strategy and roadmaps, from vision and prioritization to investment cases and expected ROI.
• Identify, assess and prioritize AI opportunities across business functions, such as efficiency gains, new revenue streams, customer experience and risk reduction.
• Build and scale AI Centers of Excellence, operating models and capability-building programs.
• Translate business goals into AI initiatives, and work with solution architects and delivery teams to ensure they reach production and deliver results.
• Monitor market trends and emerging technologies (Generative AI, Agentic AI, LLMs) and assess their strategic impact on clients’ business models and industries.
• Drive AI adoption and change management, including training, communication and building AI literacy across the organization.
• Contribute to business development by shaping proposals, discovery engagements and long-term client relationships.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Business, Economics or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
• Extensive experience in AI, data or digital transformation, including senior or leadership roles in consulting or industry.
• A proven track record of defining AI strategies and taking AI initiatives from idea to measurable business impact.
• A strong understanding of modern AI (ML, Generative AI, LLMs, Agentic AI), with enough technical depth to challenge architects and assess feasibility, without being hands-on day to day.
• Experience building or leading AI Centers of Excellence, AI programs or transformation initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence and align C-level executives, business leaders and technical teams.
• Experience leading workshops and facilitating strategic discussions.
• Excellent communication, storytelling and presentation skills in English; German is a plus.
• Willingness to travel for client workshops, onboarding and on-site engagements.
