Role Description

CTG is seeking to fill a Generative AI Data Scientist position for our client.

• Architect, design, and deliver AI and Generative AI solutions using foundation models and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Apply advanced analytics, Machine Learning (ML), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and cognitive computing techniques to solve complex business problems.
• Analyze and derive insights from both structured and unstructured data.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, enterprise-grade AI solutions and applications.
• Lead AI projects through the full lifecycle, including research, prototyping, development, deployment, and production support.
• Develop and integrate enterprise AI applications using modern AI technologies and platforms.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Amazon CodeWhisperer, or similar technologies.
• Develop solutions for unstructured content using NLP and related AI techniques.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to define requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
• Evaluate and apply emerging AI technologies to support business objectives.

Qualifications

• Glean AI required.
• Strong expertise in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data Science.
• Expert knowledge of Machine Learning (ML), Large Language Models (LLMs), and Foundation Models.
• Hands-on experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and cognitive computing.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks including TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, or Hugging Face.
• Experience with data science libraries such as Scikit-learn, Pandas, and Matplotlib.
• Strong understanding of structured and unstructured data analysis.
• Experience with cloud platforms and technologies such as AWS, Azure, GCP, and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases, including SQL, PostgreSQL, DB2, and MongoDB.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Amazon CodeWhisperer.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong business acumen and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Requirements

• Extensive experience architecting, designing, and delivering AI and Generative AI solutions.
• Proven experience implementing enterprise AI applications and integrations.
• Experience working with Foundation Models and LLM-based solutions.
• Experience with the full AI project lifecycle, from research and prototyping through production deployment.
• Strong experience applying NLP, ML, and advanced analytics to complex business problems.
• Experience with at least one specialized AI domain such as NLP, image processing, video processing, voice processing, or Watson technologies.
• Experience working with modern UI technologies such as React.js, AngularJS, Backbone.js, Ember.js, Bootstrap, or jQuery is a plus.
• Experience working across Linux, Windows, iOS, and/or Android environments is a plus.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience may be considered.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $60.00 to $70.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
