Role Description

We are looking for a sharp, client-facing Forward Deployed Engineer who can understand complex business problems, identify high-value opportunities for AI and automation, and rapidly turn those ideas into working solutions.

• Client Discovery & Problem Solving:
  • Work directly with client stakeholders to understand workflows, pain points, business objectives, and underlying operational challenges.
  • Identify the real problem worth solving, often going beyond the initial request.
• Rapid Prototyping & Solution Development:
  • Quickly turn ideas into functional prototypes, AI workflows, automations, integrations, and lightweight applications.
  • Utilize code, APIs, AI-assisted development tools, low-code platforms, and existing internal modules.
• Solution Design & Technical Judgment:
  • Translate business needs into practical technical approaches.
  • Balance speed and simplicity with productionization or scaling requirements.
• Client-Facing Technical Leadership:
  • Build credibility with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Clearly explain approaches and tradeoffs.
  • Help clients understand where AI and automation can create meaningful business value.
• Partner with Internal Teams:
  • Work closely with Account, Product, and Engineering teams to define scope and validate solutions.
  • Transition successful prototypes into more robust implementations when appropriate.
• Build for Reuse:
  • Document learnings and contribute reusable workflows, integrations, prompts, code, and solution patterns.

Qualifications

• Strong Technical Fluency:
  • Comfortable working with APIs, databases, automation platforms, AI tools, and modern development environments.
  • Hands-on ability to independently turn ideas into working prototypes.
• Rapid Builder Mindset:
  • Able to use tools such as Python, AI-assisted coding platforms, n8n, Make, Zapier, and similar technologies pragmatically.
  • Choose the fastest reliable path to validate an idea rather than over-engineering.
• Business & Product Judgment:
  • Able to understand how a client operates and ask thoughtful questions.
  • Identify root problems and translate business needs into practical technical solutions.
• Strong Client Communication:
  • Comfortable leading technical conversations with US-based clients and executives.
  • Explain complex ideas clearly and build trust with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfort with Ambiguity:
  • Able to operate effectively when requirements are incomplete or priorities evolve.
• High Ownership:
  • Proactive, self-directed, and comfortable taking a problem from initial discovery through a working solution.
• Relevant Background:
  • Open to candidates from a range of backgrounds, including Forward Deployed Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Technical Consulting, Product Engineering, Implementation/Integration Engineering, AI & Automation Consulting, or other hands-on technical roles with meaningful client exposure.
• Time Zone Alignment:
  • Able to maintain meaningful overlap with US business hours and participate reliably in client meetings.
