Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (BE / BTech / BSc / BCA)
• Master's degree (ME / MTech / MSc) is an advantage but not required
• 5+ years of full stack software engineering or software development experience
• Strong experience with:
  • Node.js and Express
  • Python services, integrations, or AI consumption
  • MySQL, PostgreSQL, and other database technologies
  • REST and GraphQL APIs
• Experience with:
  • Angular and/or React / NextJS
  • Frontend architecture, performance, and usability
  • Micro frontends and reusable UI components
• Strong experience with:
  • AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS
  • Building and managing CI/CD pipelines
  • Docker; Kubernetes exposure is a plus
• Strong knowledge of system design and microservices architecture
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies
• Nice to Have:
  • Experience with Redis or caching mechanisms
  • Exposure to observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or similar platforms
  • Experience working with enterprise SaaS platforms
  • Prior startup or fast-scaling company experience
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively in fast-paced environments
• Strategic mindset with the ability to anticipate challenges

Requirements

• Lead day-to-day engineering execution across backend, frontend, QA, and DevOps teams
• Own system design and architecture for core AI-powered platforms and products
• Ensure scalable, maintainable, and secure implementations aligned with business objectives
• Collaborate closely with the AI/ML Lead to integrate AI capabilities into production systems
• Participate actively in coding, code reviews, and technical design discussions
• Design and maintain microservices-based architectures and APIs
• Define and enforce engineering best practices for code quality, design patterns, automated testing, CI/CD, release management, security, and performance
• Review technical designs and provide engineering guidance to development teams
• Manage AWS infrastructure and cloud deployments
• Improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and monitoring practices
• Ensure system reliability, availability, and observability
• Proactively identify and resolve production issues and performance bottlenecks
• Work closely with Product Managers to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Mentor engineers and support their technical development and growth
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality releases
• Contribute to technical planning, estimations, and sprint execution
