[Hiring] AI-Native Implementation Manager @Oper

Role Description

The AI-Native Implementation Manager role sits at the centre of how we deliver Herman, and the broader platform around it, inside the bank.

Your Mission:

• Bring Oper's software into large financial institutions.
• Help build the services organisation that delivers it.
• Shape how we work, alongside the founding and management team, while running real implementations from day one.
• Understand both the bank's reality and what the agent can actually do, then close the gap between them.
• Work alongside forward deployed engineers, translating between the bank and the product.
• Coordinate distributed teams and be on-site when it matters, but not full time.

Tasks:

• Run Herman and platform implementations, from kick-off to go-live.
• Build relationships with the right people in the bank: product, risk, IT, and the business.
• Coordinate distributed teams across engineering, QA, and product.
• Translate architectural and compliance decisions into something the client understands and trusts.
• Drive change inside the institution, not just feature delivery.
• Feed the roadmap with field experience to inform our agentic product strategy.
• Use AI to shape your own work, build tools, orchestrate agents, and create reusable building blocks.
• Help build Oper's professional services organisation from the ground up.

Qualifications

• A strong analytical foundation, possibly from strategy consulting or similar.
• Strong organizational instincts to bring structure to complexity.
• Real curiosity about IT systems and AI.
• A feel for customers; people trust you and come back to you.
• The drive to build something, not just to execute it.
• Ability to zoom out to set direction, and zoom in to get it done.
• Clear, direct communication.

Requirements

• Languages: German and English are both required; Dutch or French is a plus.
• AUSTRIA-based candidates: remote setup, with regular travel to Antwerp (roughly quarterly) and to customers as needed.
• Working in CET hours.
