[Hiring] AI Model Training Specialist @Aelven Inc.

Role Description

We’re hiring AI Model Training Specialists to help improve advanced AI systems through careful data review, evaluation, and feedback. This is a generalist role. Projects may include:

• Language tasks
• Workflow data
• Robotics-related data
• Structured evaluations
• AI-generated content
• Other types of training data

You do not need prior AI or data annotation experience. The most important skills are:

• Critical thinking
• Attention to detail
• Strong reading comprehension
• Fluent English

You’ll use advanced internal tools designed to make the work clear, efficient, and engaging. You’ll also have opportunities to share feedback with our operations and engineering teams to help improve the tools, guidelines, and workflows used across projects.

What you’ll do:

• Review, label, or evaluate data used to train AI systems.
• Assess whether tasks, workflows, or outputs follow written instructions.
• Compare examples and determine which better meets project criteria.
• Identify errors, inconsistencies, missing information, or unclear reasoning.
• Apply detailed guidelines and rubrics consistently.
• Write short explanations for your judgments when needed.
• Flag confusing tasks, edge cases, or workflow improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• U.S.-based.
• 18+.
• Fluent English.
• Reliable internet connection.
• Laptop or desktop computer.
• Ability to complete a 30-minute recorded general assessment.
• Ability to complete a paid qualification task.
• Availability to start this week is strongly preferred.

Pay

$20 to $30/hour depending on project type, quality, and experience.
