[Hiring] AI + Digital Experience Consultant @O3 World

Role Description

The AI and digital experience consultant is a hybrid practitioner and growth driver working across O3's digital experience consulting practice and O3XO's AI advisory work. The role is for someone who can sit at a client's table as a strategic peer, helping leaders understand where AI fits in their business, how it connects to their broader digital strategy, and how to get their people ready to use it. This is a consulting role, not a deep technical one: you bring the right specialists in when depth is needed, and you keep the client conversation moving.

Approximately half of this role is billable. The remaining time goes to business development, account growth, and internal practice contribution. This is a remote role open to applicants in Arkansas, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, and Texas.

Client consulting + AI advisory

• Lead discovery workshops, stakeholder interviews, and strategic planning sessions across AI and digital experience.
• Assess client readiness and maturity, and develop prioritized roadmaps grounded in each client's business context and tied to measurable outcomes.
• Identify and prioritize AI use cases, defining each with goals, success measures, and data and integration considerations so it can move into design and implementation.
• Translate ambiguous client challenges into clearly scoped opportunities with defined value, resourcing, and delivery approaches.
• Advise clients on the right solutions, build-versus-buy thinking, and AI governance in plain business terms.
• Design and deliver training, workshops, and enablement, and guide the change management that helps new ways of working take hold.
• Provide strategic oversight on pilots and proofs of concept, and translate results into clear next steps.
• Partner with O3XO specialists and delivery teams to connect strategy to technical execution.
• Deliver executive-ready presentations and recommendations to senior stakeholders and C-suite audiences.

Revenue growth + business development

• Own account growth for a defined portfolio of O3 clients, maintaining trusted advisor relationships and proactively identifying expansion opportunities.
• Develop forward-looking account strategies and work with client services and delivery leads to surface upsell and cross-sell opportunities before they go to RFP.
• Contribute to proposals, statements of work, and pitch presentations, and support pricing and scoping decisions that reflect the value delivered and position O3 competitively.
• Build relationships with prospective clients through referrals and consultative outreach.
• Represent O3 through articles, case studies, point-of-view pieces, and industry events, working with marketing so thought leadership is grounded in client work and supports pipeline and brand goals.

Team + practice contribution

• Help shape O3's digital experience methodologies and O3XO's AI delivery frameworks.
• Coach junior consultants on deliverables, client communication, and consulting craft.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of consulting experience in digital experience, digital strategy, marketing technology, or a related discipline, with hands-on exposure to AI strategy, adoption, or implementation.
• Demonstrated ability to lead client engagements end to end, from discovery through recommendation and roadmap delivery.
• Working fluency in how organizations use digital technology and the evolving AI landscape, including generative AI and AI-enabled workflows.
• Experience facilitating workshops, training, or enablement for non-technical audiences.
• Strong executive presence and communication skills: able to hold the room and earn trust with senior stakeholders.
• A revenue mindset: you understand how consulting engagements are scoped, priced, and grown, and you take ownership of that.
• Collaborative and low-ego: you know when to lead and when to bring in the right specialist.
• Comfort in a fast-moving environment where frameworks are still being built and ambiguity is the norm.
