Role Description

We are seeking a hands-on, forward-thinking Agentic Architect to lead the design, development, and governance of AI agent systems across the enterprise. This role sits at the intersection of enterprise architecture and applied AI. You will define how autonomous and semi-autonomous AI agents are built, deployed, orchestrated, and governed at scale. You will establish the patterns, frameworks, and guardrails that enable teams across the organization to build reliable, secure agentic solutions that deliver real business value. This is a senior technical leadership role requiring deep expertise in AI/ML systems, modern software architecture, and a strong understanding of business operations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software architecture, AI/ML engineering, or enterprise architecture.
• Demonstrated experience designing and deploying AI agent systems or LLM-powered applications in production.
• Strong understanding of LLM capabilities and limitations, prompt engineering, RAG, function/tool calling, and agent orchestration patterns.
• Experience with agent frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, Claude Agent SDK, or custom implementations).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern DevOps/MLOps practices.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture principles and the ability to operate across organizational boundaries.
• Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to make pragmatic architectural decisions in a fast-moving domain.
• Experience building AI/ML systems in regulated industries (insurance, finance, healthcare) with sensitivity to PII and compliance requirements.
• Experience building evaluation harnesses, benchmarks, and testing frameworks for LLM-based systems.

Requirements

• Experience with model evaluation, red-teaming, or AI safety practices.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman).
• Cloud architecture certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect).
• Contributions to open-source AI/agent projects or published thought leadership in the space.
• Insurance or financial services industry experience.

Benefits

• $140,000 - $210,000 salary range with a comprehensive benefits package.
