Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Workfront Fusion Developer & Integration Consultant to support a major enterprise marketing transformation focused on intelligent, automated, and connected MarTech operations. This contractor will serve as a hands-on technical resource responsible for integrating marketing platforms, developing advanced Workfront Fusion automations, and optimizing production workflows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on Workfront Fusion experience, including complex, multi-branch, iterative, and production-grade integration scenarios.
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Workfront, including its object model, custom forms, project templates, queues, sharing configurations, and reporting capabilities.
• Proven experience developing and supporting REST and SOAP API integrations.
• Advanced ability to work with JSON, XML, data mapping, transformation, and parsing within integration workflows.
• Practical knowledge of authentication methods such as OAuth 2.0, API keys, and basic authentication.
• Professional consulting experience, with demonstrated success gathering requirements, managing stakeholder expectations, and aligning technical solutions with business needs.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving skills, particularly when resolving complex data-flow or API issues.
• Ability to independently design, test, deploy, document, and support integrations in a production environment.

Requirements

• Design and develop sophisticated Workfront Fusion scenarios that automate data and asset movement throughout the marketing lifecycle.
• Build integrations between Workfront and content creation, production, campaign, digital asset management, and project management platforms.
• Implement automation connecting AI-assisted production tools and marketing applications with Workfront through native capabilities and custom Fusion scenarios.
• Develop API-driven workflows using webhooks, custom rules, authentication methods, and data transformations to improve platform efficiency.
• Create automated pipelines between Workfront and digital asset management or project collaboration systems.
• Support performance marketing workflows by connecting campaign content, variations, and insights across relevant MarTech platforms.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing Fusion scenarios, API connections, webhooks, and production integrations to maintain reliability and uptime.
• Monitor system performance, API usage, response behavior, and workflow bottlenecks, implementing improvements as needed.
• Establish error-handling and recovery frameworks, including reusable logging, monitoring, and remediation processes designed to minimize data loss and service interruptions.
• Gather and document requirements, technical specifications, data mappings, workflow diagrams, integration designs, and operational procedures.
