Role Description

As we embark on a major enterprise transformation to build an intelligent, agentic marketing ecosystem, we are seeking a highly skilled Workfront Fusion Developer & Integration Consultant to serve as the critical technical engine of our MarTech roadmap.

Our strategic direction centers on moving to an Adobe-centric product suite (including Adobe Express, Firefly, GenStudio) for content creation and campaign management. Adobe Workfront and Workfront Fusion serve as our central orchestration layer and backbone.

Key Responsibilities

• Integration Development & MarTech Orchestration (60%)
  • Architect and Build Fusion Scenarios: Design, develop, test, and deploy robust, high-performing integration scenarios using Workfront Fusion to establish seamless data and asset flows across our entire campaign lifecycle (Intake, Plan, Create, Adapt, Review, Activate).
  • Connect Production Agents & Automation Tools: Lead the technical implementation of key integration roadmap initiatives:
    • Integrate Production Agents (Adobe Express, Firefly) with Adobe Workfront using native and custom Fusion scenarios.
    • Connect Workfront & Agents to Bluefield via MCP (Marketing Cloud Platform / Adobe Journey Optimizer integrations).
    • Build custom integrations connecting GenStudio to Workfront to streamline performance marketing variations and insights.
    • Establish Workfront-to-DAM (Digital Asset Management) and Workfront-to-JIRA automated pipelines.
  • Workfront Automation: Create advanced custom rules, API calls, and Webhooks within Workfront to maximize platform efficiency, speed up content reviews, and support automated brand compliance workflows.
• Business Analysis & Technical Consulting (15%)
  • Consultative Requirements Gathering: Act as an internal technical consultant, partnering with Marketing Managers, Creative leads, and system administrators to translate operational needs into scalable technical specifications.
  • Technical Documentation: Author and maintain rigorous documentation for all built scenarios, data mappings, credential management processes, and workflow diagrams.
  • Vendor & Partner Collaboration: Co-develop integration frameworks alongside external implementation consultants as needed (e.g., Adobe, NetSource, Perficient) to ensure architectural consistency.

Qualifications

• Workfront Fusion Expertise: 3+ years of intensive, hands-on experience building complex, multi-branch, and iterative integration scenarios inside Workfront Fusion (or Integromat platform).
• Workfront Mastery: Deep understanding of the Adobe Workfront object model, custom forms, project templates, queues, sharing settings, and advanced reporting features.
• API Development & Integration Protocols:
  • Proven capability working with REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Proficient in handling JSON, XML, and complex data parsing, mapping, and transformation within Fusion functions.
  • Solid understanding of authentication methods including OAuth 2.0, API keys, and basic auth.
• Consulting Experience: Must possess professional consulting experience (either within an agency, professional services firm, or as an independent external consultant) with a strong ability to manage stakeholder expectations, handle competing priorities, and drive technical alignment.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional debugging, logical reasoning, and analytical skills to resolve complex data flow failures and API mismatches.
