Role Description
This internship provides students with valuable experience in business development, workforce training, sustainable housing, and economic empowerment. Organize bi-weekly community marketplace events, recruiting small businesses to showcase products and services.

Research and draft grant proposals to secure funding for workforce training and community programs.

Collaborate with government and corporate partners to expand job training initiatives.

Assist in structuring financial assistance programs for workers in employee-owned business models.

Support the development of affordable housing programs, including lease-to-own models.

Research sustainable building materials, including 3D printing and concrete moss for energy-efficient housing.

Assist in community planning initiatives, working to improve local infrastructure.

Manage social media platforms, creating digital content to promote workforce initiatives.

Develop newsletters and blog posts highlighting economic opportunities and training programs.

Assist in podcast and media production, interviewing industry professionals to provide workforce insights and release independent podcast and newsletter content.

Qualifications

No prior experience required – all training will be provided through the Govuni Workforce Training Program.
