[Hiring] VP Global Demand & Delivery @UFORCE

Role Description

Uforce is scaling quickly, and our order book is beginning to outgrow site-by-site planning. We are hiring a Global Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) / Demand Planning Manager to own the link between what we expect to sell and what our production network can build. This is a global role by design: rather than sitting inside any one facility, you will hold the bird's-eye view across our entire network — our Portugal operations, our Poole location, and the US sites we are building out — so that demand is matched to capacity wherever it makes the most sense.

What you'll do:

• Own the bookings forecast on a regular cadence (initially weekly), looking out over the next several months to a quarter.
• Translate that forecast into a granular view of expected units — by platform, by drone/vessel type, and down to the configuration level.
• Keep the forecast current as deals progress, slip, or change scope.
• Work closely with Sales to pressure-test the pipeline.
• Collaborate with Finance and leadership to ensure everyone is operating from one shared number.
• Map incoming demand against available capacity at each site and get ahead of it.
• Flag early for orders, determining where they should be built.
• Work with the Portugal team (or whichever site is best placed) to plan materials, labor, and schedule well before the PO arrives.
• Identify capacity gaps and bottlenecks across the network.
• Recommend where to load or shift work between sites.
• Help inform where and when we need to add capacity as the US footprint grows.
• Build the S&OP process itself: the regular forecast and capacity review rhythm, the planning tools and dashboards that support it, and the metrics (forecast accuracy, capacity utilization, on-time delivery) that tell us whether it is working.

Qualifications

• Experience in demand planning, S&OP, or production planning at a hardware or manufacturing company.
• Comfortable moving between a sales pipeline and a factory floor schedule.
• Strong with data and forecasting models.
• Able to turn an uncertain forecast into clear, early decisions that site teams can act on.
• Effective communicator across functions and time zones.
• Energized by building a process from the ground up rather than inheriting one.
• Experience in high-growth environments (automotive, aerospace, defense, robotics, or similar) is a strong plus.
• Comfort with travel between sites.
