[Hiring] Volunteer Recruiter @Centurions Michigan

Role Description

We are looking for a competent Volunteer Recruiter to support departmental planning recruiting, onboarding, off-boarding and monitoring the recruiting progress.

• Assist in developing and implementing plans and goals for the department
• Conduct orientations for new team members
• Work with the Administration Manager to coordinate and supervise daily operations

Major Responsibilities

• Identifying future hiring needs
• Assist with designing job descriptions
• Sourcing candidates through databases and social media
• Assist with conducting interviews
• Assist with conducting orientations
• Filing paperwork
• Keep abreast of employment law and legislation
• Conduct background checks (utilizing iCHAT)
• Attend hiring events and job fairs (if necessary)

Qualifications

• Understanding of the issue, or willingness to learn, about human trafficking
• Alignment with Centurions’ purpose, mission, vision and values
• Writing and typing skills
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Familiarity with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with Google Drive cloud file organization and storage
• Experience with tracking the recruiting process
• Non-profit experience (preferred but not required)
• Must reside in the state of Michigan
