As a Virtual Treatment Coordinator you will be assisting our Team of Virtual Diagnosing Dentists who conduct comprehensive and problem focused exams remotely through a Telehealth portal. You will ensure the patients' clinical notes and treatment plans are accurate and complete. Following the exam, you will present the treatment plan to the patients, collect patient co-pays and schedule them for treatment as soon as possible. You will also follow up on cases where patients were not ready to schedule at the time of exam.

• Establish rapport with patients by being a good listener who our patients can trust.
• Assist Virtual Diagnosing Dentist with data entry of charting, clinical notes, and treatment plans.
• Coordinate patient insurance benefits and provide accurate treatment plan estimates.
• Utilize your clinical and insurance knowledge base to answer patients' questions about all aspects of their treatment plans.
• Collect patient copays and schedule patients for treatment at their nearest Zak Dental location as soon as possible.
• Discourage patients from procrastinating their treatment, which can lead to the need for more extensive and expensive treatment.
• For those patients who need financial assistance, educate patients about various payment and financing options so their Wellness32 (a.k.a. Oral health) needs can be met.
• Follow up on cases where patients were not ready to accept/schedule their treatment.

Qualifications

• 1+ experience working in Dental Practice as Registered Dental Assistant, Treatment Coordinator or Office Manager.
• Able to work during normal Pacific Time Zone business hours.
• MUST speak Spanish and English fluently.
• Must have a computer and internet access.
• High school diploma (GED).
