Role Description

We are looking for a creative and passionate Video Producer to join our Affiliates team. This is a hands-on & creative role, where you’ll create high quality videos aligned with affiliate priorities and editorial standards. You’ll create engaging affiliate content that aligns with the brand and guidelines, driving traffic to partner sites and generating revenue through affiliate strategies.

• Responsible for researching product features and understanding target audiences.
• Craft compelling content that encourages click-through and conversions.
• Consider the role of audio and video content for every story.
• Capture or curate basic footage where appropriate to engage audiences.
• Look after the social video output and build brand awareness for affiliate social platforms.
• Shoot original footage and manage upload and distribution with colleagues.
• Ensure legal, copyright, editorial and ASA compliance.
• Support fast-turnaround publishing across all Reach channels.
• Stay across trends and industry developments to maximise performance across social media.

Qualifications

• Experienced Video Producer, ideally with a background in affiliates.
• Comfortable working independently in a fast turnaround environment.
• Experience in a newsroom setting is ideal, but not essential.
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms.
• Good working knowledge of social media analytics tools.
• Confident editor skilled on Premiere Pro/Adobe Express or an equivalent editing programme.
• NCTJ/BTCJ qualifications are preferred but not a necessity.

• Analytical as well as creative.
