Role Description

At GrowtHub, our Video Editor & Studio Production Assistant is an editor first. You cut footage, turn specific shots into AI footage and jump in to support any team whenever it's needed. You also run our in-house production end to end:

• The weekly Thursday studio session
• Street interviews
• The bi-weekly Monday test session for new actors

You are our single point of contact with the studio, you direct the actors, you keep the booking and the money exact, and you can run the whole operation alone for at least two weeks.

Qualifications

• Strong video editing skills with a portfolio of short-form vertical ads cut in Premiere Pro, CapCut or DaVinci Resolve.
• Hands-on experience with AI video tools like Higgsfield, Kling or Seedance, or the drive to learn them fast.
• A team player who's happy to switch between editing, AI and production in the same week.
• Native or near-native English for fixing scripts and judging actors' delivery and accent.
• A production eye for framing, set dressing and knowing what good looks like per format.
• Talent direction skills to get strong takes efficiently from experienced and first-time actors.
• Casting judgment to evaluate self-tapes and on-set performances.
• Estimation skills to predict shoot length from formats, actors and script lengths.
• Basic budgeting knowledge for cost sheets, hourly rates and peso/USD payments.
• Comfort using Notion, Google Sheets, Google Drive, WhatsApp and teleprompter apps.
• Organized, detail-obsessed and deadline-driven.
• Calm under pressure, able to improvise on set and in the street without losing the plan.
• An assertive communicator who chases people, sets clear expectations and is reachable the night before a shoot.

Requirements

• Edit first: Cut studio, street interview and creator footage into short-form vertical ads.
• Turn real footage into AI footage.
• Restyle, extend or rebuild specific shots with AI video tools.
• Support every team when needed.
• Own the weekly production calendar.
• Collect actor needs from strategists, chase missing scripts, estimate session length, fill cost sheet and book studio hours.
• Cast and confirm actors.
• Prep the shoot by ordering script lists, sending studio links, transcribing scripts, and planning the full day.
• Run the set, checking sets and framing, directing actors, and making light wording fixes.
• Run the Monday test session for new actors.
• Close the money by counting hours used, calculating studio costs, and sending pay per actor.
• Hand over the footage and check item count against scripts.
• Build the actor pipeline by reviewing self-tapes and promoting strong candidates.
• Hold the line on script deadlines.
• Keep bringing new formats in-house.
