[Hiring] Vice President, Operations @Merakey

Role Description

This role involves providing leadership and direction for all IDD service strategic initiatives as well as current programs and services to ensure that the Division provides the highest quality care and services to the individuals we serve.

• Ensure day-to-day operations in IDD are managed efficiently and effectively through performance management, process design, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor and respond to the performance of current programs and service offerings.
• Participate in the strategic planning for the division and collaborate in the planning and development of division and organization policies and procedures.
• Manage the monthly and annual financial close/budgeting process and P&L (200 – 500 million) for IDD division.
• Uphold and demonstrate the Merakey values while maintaining quality, compliant, and profitable business operations.
• Partner with Senior Leadership to develop business goals and communicate goals and expectations across the division.
• Hold leadership and sites accountable for their performance through reviews of operational data, performance reviews, and corrective action where necessary.
• Provide business operation updates as an active member of the IDD leadership team.
• Support, monitor, and respond to licensing and regulatory compliance for the division.
• Stay up to date on all IDD service needs, service delivery trends, service program accreditation, and delivery methods in the industry landscape.
• Revise/update programs and service offerings to achieve alignment with market needs and expectations.
• Work with regulatory and accreditation organizations to ensure programs and staff meet and exceed requirements.
• Demonstrate professionalism and ethics through leadership of staff and partnerships with external vendors, clients/patients.
• Assist in the development of new programs.
• Manage and supervise Senior Executive Directors and others as assigned within the division.
• Improve existing programs through assurance that divisional operation teams are participating in the PQI process.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social services field of study, business, or health administration preferred.
• 10+ years of direct operational experience preferably in Behavioral Health space and oversight of large P&L.
• 10+ years’ experience in leading people/teams in a management capacity.
• 5+ years experience in leading Leaders.
• Excellent public speaking and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Proven strategic planning and budgeting experience.
• Demonstrated experience setting, monitoring, and meeting quarterly and annual goals.
• Problem-solving skills.
