[Hiring] Traveling Field Service Technician @Xylem

Role Description

The Senior Field Service Technician will be responsible for initiating and executing field service activities at customer sites in a safe and efficient manner. This role includes:

• Proactive system troubleshooting
• Working with mechanical, electrical, and diesel equipment conditions
• Conducting preventative maintenance and parts inventory
• Anticipating and correcting safety issues (both Company and Customer owned equipment)
• Direct interfacing with customers
• Potential responsibility for work in multiple systems/locations/customers

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent
• May have industry specific license(s) (preferred)

Requirements

• Travel required: 20%-80% travel depending on division & location (overnight stays, away from home)
• Driver Application for Employment
• Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
• Forms:
  • Driver Disclosure and Release
  • Employee Applicant Drug and Alcohol Statement
  • Driver Certificate of Violations
  • Copy of Driver’s License
• Ability to obtain all required customer clearances (TWIC, DISA, etc.)
• Clean driving record
• Work experience preferred: 2 to 5 years of technical work experience including industrial or commercial process water experience
