Role Description
We are looking for a results-oriented, highly organized, and collaborative individual to provide programmatic and operational support on our Strategy Team. This associate will support initiatives core to the Strategy Team’s field-building work, provide day-to-day coordination for our online training and community-building platform, assist with the development of training and technical assistance offerings to housing partners, and support the planning and execution of our National FSS Conference. The Training & Technical Assistance Associate will also play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient Strategy team operations and will support the delivery of high-quality services to Compass’ partners and stakeholders. This position reports to the Training and Technical Assistance Manager.
- Support the delivery of Compass’ training and technical assistance offerings to partners
- Assist with the execution of new training initiatives
- Assist with the creation and management of content for Compass’ proprietary online learning platform, FSS Link
- National FSS Conference planning and execution
- Other projects and duties in line with Compass’ Strategic Plan and operating goals

- Some knowledge of and familiarity with the FSS program, including program policy and financial coaching topics

- Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with partners and staff across the Compass team
- Strong organizational and execution skills; detail-oriented with the ability to complete work accurately, efficiently, and on time

- Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to creatively problem solve, prioritize, create actionable plans, and deliver tangible outcomes in a growing organization
Requirements
- Experience and/or educational background in instructional design, learning experience design, or curriculum design
- Marketing and communications experience
- Experience with grant management and/or the disbursement of state and/or federal funding
Benefits
- The salary range for this role is $47,170.00 - $56,445.00, commensurate with experience
