[Hiring] Train Driver @PW Consulting

Role Description

PW Consulting are excited to be recruiting for additional part-time Train Drivers to support our operations across the UK. Our work is varied, from private passenger charters to empty vehicle movements, train crew hire, route conducting, and fleet logistics. A variety of shifts can be offered, from regular weekly movements to Summer trips to the coast.

These opportunities for qualified and experienced passenger drivers are ideal for:

• Active drivers seeking an additional income
• Semi-retired drivers looking to keep their hand in

Driver Instructor qualifications would be a distinct advantage, and experience with locomotives (old or new) and/or Yellow Plant would be advantageous, but not essential.

We have vacancies nationwide, so applicants from all regions will be considered. Specific areas of interest include:

• The North East
• Lincolnshire and Humberside
• The North West including Cheshire
• MML
• WCML
• South Wales
• Suburban London

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years passenger or plant driver experience
• Extensive mainline route knowledge

Requirements

• Pass a Railway Medical Assessment
• Provide a Safety of the Line document
• Proof of routes and traction signed
