[Hiring] Threat Advisor Intern @SentinelOne

Role Description

As a SentinelOne Threat Advisor Intern, you will assist in ensuring a strong security posture is configured and maintained in client environments. You will be asked to assist in creating client-facing cybersecurity content. Additionally, the possibility of delivering this created content to clients.

What Will You Do?

• Validation of Initial SentinelOne Configuration: Assist with a console health check of the clients' environments as they onboard to start using SentinelOne services.
• Ongoing SentinelOne Configuration Checks: Create Cyber Threat Content by reviewing the threat landscape and creating digestible client-facing content that can enhance security posture.
• Creating/gathering Client-facing Metrics: Assist Threat Advisors in gathering service-related metrics important for transparency of operations.
• Identifying tailored recommendations: Extract data from multiple points in the SentinelOne console to create actionable insights.
• Assist in Escalations: Collaborate with the team to investigate issues in the SentinelOne console or gather information from internal sources to create a plan of action for client satisfaction.
• Client Communication: Present to clients or write responses with supervision, depending on the communication type.

Qualifications

• Fundamental Cyber Security concepts: CIA Triad, Essential Personal Protection Practices, Understanding of Key Threats (phishing, Malware, insecure networks), Network Protocols (TCP/IP, DNS).
• Basic EDR concepts: Hashes, Mitigation actions, IOCs, TTPs.
• Foundational experience with security operations concepts.
• Strong writing skills.
