Role Description

The Practice Manager provides operational leadership for Abode Care Partners’ new telehealth practice—a scaling, multi-state model delivering virtual clinical care to older adults and medically complex patients in close collaboration with other BrightSpring Health Services businesses, such as Home Health.

• Own the day-to-day operations that enable providers to deliver care efficiently and compliantly across state lines.
• Responsibilities include scheduling and intake, patient consents, clinical and administrative workflows, follow-up management, provider licensure coordination, multi-state telehealth regulatory compliance, and billing compliance.

Responsibilities

• Practice Operations & Workflow
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the telehealth practice across multiple states.
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve clinical and administrative workflows.
  • Own patient scheduling and intake operations.
  • Manage the patient consent process.
  • Establish and monitor follow-up and care-continuity processes.
  • Build standardized operating procedures, playbooks, and templates.
• Multi-State Licensure & Telehealth Regulatory Compliance
  • Coordinate provider licensure, credentialing, and payer enrollment across states.
  • Track and maintain compliance with state-specific telehealth regulations.
  • Monitor changes in federal and state telehealth policy.
  • Maintain licensure, DEA, and credentialing calendars.
• Billing & Revenue Cycle Compliance
  • Ensure telehealth visits are documented, coded, and billed in compliance with payer rules.
  • Support accurate billing for care-management and technology-enabled services.
  • Partner with revenue cycle and billing teams to monitor claim accuracy.
  • Support charge capture, documentation completeness, and audit readiness.
• Provider & Partner Collaboration
  • Serve as the operational point of contact for physicians and advanced practice providers.
  • Collaborate closely with other BrightSpring Health Services businesses.
  • Partner with external care settings and referral sources.
  • Support onboarding and ongoing management of partners.
  • Communicate regularly with central operations and cross-functional teams.
• Performance, Quality & Growth
  • Track and report operational KPIs.
  • Support documentation quality and quality-measure performance.
  • Identify and lead process-improvement initiatives.
  • Support expansion of the telehealth practice into new states and markets.
  • Support technology-supported care operations.
  • Participate in required trainings, meetings, and performance reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, nursing, or a related field required; a Master’s degree preferred.
• Three or more years of healthcare practice management or clinical operations experience required; five or more years preferred.
• Experience managing multi-site, multi-state, or telehealth-based clinical operations strongly preferred.
• Experience standing up or scaling a new practice, service line, or telehealth program preferred.
• Working knowledge of multi-state telehealth regulations, licensure and credentialing processes, and telehealth billing and coding requirements strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with primary care and care-management programs preferred.
• Experience with technology-supported care delivery preferred.
• Familiarity with a range of clinical sub-specialties delivered via telehealth preferred.
• Experience supporting clinical documentation quality and quality-measure performance preferred.
• Experience partnering directly with physicians and advanced practice providers required.
• Experience with home health, post-acute, skilled nursing, or older-adult populations preferred.
• Experience with value-based care, population health, or accountable care models preferred.
• Proficiency with EHRs, telehealth platforms, scheduling systems, and reporting tools required.
• Relevant certification or clinical credential preferred.
• Working familiarity with HIPAA, telehealth privacy and security requirements, and healthcare compliance standards required.
• Ability to travel across assigned markets as needed.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote and distributed environment across multiple time zones.
• Strong operational and project-management skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-management skills.
• Process-oriented, with a track record of building scalable workflows.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to track KPIs and quality measures.

• Salary Range: USD $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 / Year
