[Hiring] Telecommunications Billing Specialist @Buckley Cable Construction Company

Role Description

Buckley Cable Construction is seeking an experienced Telecommunications Billing Specialist with a strong understanding of HFC (Hybrid Fiber-Coaxial) construction and/or FDX (Full Duplex) network technology. This position will be responsible for:

• Reviewing completed telecommunications construction work.
• Validating billable units and supporting documentation.
• Preparing accurate billing.
• Working with Operations and Project Management to resolve discrepancies that could delay invoicing.

Previous Comcast billing experience is a strong plus. We are looking for someone who understands telecommunications construction and can recognize the difference between what was designed, what was actually built in the field, and what should ultimately be billed to the customer.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with telecommunications construction billing strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of HFC construction and/or FDX network construction required.
• Understanding of common aerial and underground telecommunications construction activities and billing units.
• Ability to read and interpret construction prints, designs, maps, work orders, and field documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies in quantities and supporting documentation.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage a high volume of projects and billing items simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other standard business applications.
• Experience working with construction management, customer portal, or billing systems preferred.

Requirements

• Comcast billing experience is a significant plus, particularly experience involving HFC, FDX, OSP construction, construction unit billing, customer portals, or project closeout.
• Candidates with experience working for a telecommunications contractor, cable operator, or OSP construction company will be strongly considered.
