[Hiring] Technical Systems Analyst II @InComm Payments

Role Description

As a Technical Systems Analyst, you will support our eCommerce operations and applications. In this role you will work in an aggressive Agile environment and deliver high production support, application deployments using automation via Ansible, collaborating with developers, QAs, and DBAs. We need strong communicators who are accustomed to working with International teams.

Professional English Language skills are required. The ideal candidate will have experience within a production support environment using automation, Ansible, Linux, and have exposure to CI/CD tools, log and Splunk searching, and an interest in working with incidents.

CLT. Fully Remote in Brazil.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, investigate, and resolve production issues and incidents in a timely manner.
• Analyze application and database performance; able to write SQL queries and troubleshoot SQL code and database queries.
• Perform root cause analysis and provide suggestions for long-term fixes for recurring issues.
• Work closely with developers, DBAs, and QA teams to deploy application updates and patches to the production environment.
• Document production release and submit changes for approval in ServiceNow.
• Create and maintain scripts for automation for server reboots, server/service restarts.
• Participate in rotational 24x7 on-call 3rd/4th level support.
• Ability to effectively communicate with other team members.
• Maintain documentation for support processes, incident handling, and configurations.
• Support and maintain projects developed by the team; assist in production deployment and outages.
• Configure, deploy, debug, monitor, and document new system features and enhancements.
• Collaborate with business professionals to determine functional and non-functional requirements for upcoming new projects to production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field required.
• 3+ years of experience in production environment support.
• 2+ years of Linux, SQL, and MySQL experience.
• 2+ years of experience with Splunk log search and writing Splunk queries.
• 2+ years of experience with Azure Virtual machines, app services, load balancers.
• Hands-on experience deploying and managing scalable applications in Microsoft Azure.
• Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
• Excellent organizational skills, self-administration, attention to detail, multi-tasking, and effective prioritization.
• Experience in the Java ecosystem is a plus.
• MySQL and SQL Database experience.
• Experience with Magento, Camunda BPM is a plus.
• Experience with orchestration tools like Ansible and Terraform.
• Familiarity with GitHub, JIRA & Confluence.
