[Hiring] Technical Sourcing Manager @Jabil

Role Description

The Technical Sourcing Manager will manage supplier selection process and part validation process for three major facets of Jabil’s needs:

• Design
• NPI
• Risk/Cost Reduction

This position requires situational analysis to leverage Jabil’s Supply Chain and Sourcing organizations as well as Jabil’s tools, templates, and processes to ensure we are identifying, validating, and deploying components into Jabil’s supply base correctly. This role must shift and adapt quickly to changing project requirements and act with a sense of urgency. Support of multiple projects/customers and have indirect reports is possible.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree (preferred in Mechanical Engineering having worked in Supply Chain)
• 5-8 years or more of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• This job may require up to 30% travel through the US and Mexico.

Requirements

• Advanced PC skills, with emphasis on Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to read, analyze, interpret technical or mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
• Ability to effectively present information to Upper Management and external stakeholders.
• Ability to read and speak English.
• Ability to read and interpret 2D and 3D drawings and identify key information to manufacture a component following GD&T guidelines.

Benefits

• The pay range for this role is $115,500 - $207,900.
